I've played Robotek for maybe 8 years. Listen, it is not pay to play. I've completed it around a dozen times, and it is challenging in places, but you have to learn to play the game. I've never paid a bean to the developer, and sorry dude about that, but it's an ad free game with an amazingly balanced mix of strategy and luck. How to play? Protect your robots. Get a shield round 2. If you have a shield, attack. You need to find the weakest opponent on the map.

Incredible game. The AI stops cheating if you buy the recharger node, it's a small one-off purchase. But it's bad design if free-only players have a cheating AI. Otherwise it's a classic turn based strategy/luck game, I can't put it down. Has a cool design aesthetic, good sound design too. Worth the purchase for me

I love this game. It's beautiful, and for the most part fun I've been playing for years and haven't gotten bored with it, but I have a small issue. I think we should be able to choose the robot our robots attack to make it a bit more fair. It doesn't make much sense for my Droid to waste it's attack on a bot with 1 hp when my drone could attack it and still be able to attack other enemies while my Droid focuses on more powerful enemies. I think this change would give it more of a strategic feel instead of feeling like it's all blind luck. Of course the enemies should be able to do the same to up the challenge. It would also make deciding when to attack and defend a more crucial part of game play. Really hope you consider implementing this change. Regardless, it's a great game and definitely worth giving it a try.
