About this game

Collect Pokémon Through Sleeping!

In the world of Pokémon Sleep, Pokémon with the same sleep type as you will gather around as you catch some Zs, so discover all the various different sleep styles that Pokémon can have as you aim to complete your Sleep Style Dex!

What A Day Looks Like in Pokémon Sleep

■ When Night Falls...
It’s time to track your sleep! All you need to do is place your smart device by your pillow (don’t place your device under your pillow or blankets as it may overheat), then call it a night. You can also play using sleep data tracked via your smartwatch.

■ A New Day Dawns
By the time you wake, Pokémon will have gathered in Pokémon Sleep based on your sleep type and how long you slept for. Carry out research on these Pokémon’s sleep styles to complete your Sleep Style Dex!

■ And the Rest of the Day...
Raise Snorlax big and strong! Snorlax will grow larger by receiving Berries from the Pokémon you befriend. The more you raise Snorlax, the greater your odds will be of encountering Pokémon with rare sleep styles!

Rest Your Very Best!

■ Check Your Sleep Report
What kind of sleep did you get last night? Your sleep report contains tidbits like how long you took to fall asleep, how long you spent in different sleep stages, and whether you snored or talked in your sleep.

■ Get Support to try to Sleep Your Best
You can have Pokémon at your side even when you sleep! With features like Pokémon-inspired music to relax you into sleep, plus smart alarms that wake you when you’re in a shallow stage of sleep, Pokémon Sleep may help you to rest your very best.

■ Smartwatch Pairing
By linking with Health Connect, you can use sleep data tracked through certain smartwatches to play Pokémon Sleep.

The app has gone through a lot of improvements and is now genuinely useful as a sleep tracker, although not quite as good as dedicated option, and performance improvements have made it a lot less clunky, although it's still not as smooth as it possibly could be. The monetisation isn't too bad, the premium pass is quite expensive and does offer a huge boost but it doesn't feel like you're stuck by not using it

Thank you for connecting our smartwatchs! It was an absolute burden having the app open all night burning up the phone, I used to have a fan on all night to keep my phone called down to be able to play this at first. Now I have no stress of setting it all up before bed and panicking that I'd forgotten. Massive improvement now. I love the shiny rates too. I get a shiny every good few sleeps and it makes me so happy as an OG shiny hunter. Maybe a bit more thought in the friends area.

My only issue with this app is qol (quality of life) stuff. The background music is typical Pokémon music which would be okay but it's quite upbeat, when I'm about to go to sleep I'd much rather be listening to gentle, relaxing music. The second thing is the amount of popups when you open the app, there's usually about 50 things to redeem or claim to the point where I usually go from 'about to fall asleep' to 'almost wide awake'. It kinda messes with my flow/routine of going to bed.
