How it works
Our brightly colored vehicles are convenient, climate neutral and available 24/7 to quickly zip you where you want to be.

To get started:
1. Download the Dott app
2. Open the map to find a nearby vehicle
3. Scan the QR code to unlock – and you’re off!
Pro tip: Select a pass or discount after unlocking to save on your ride.

To end your ride:
1. Open the app
2. Find a dedicated parking spot on the map
3. Continue on your day!

Save with a Dott pass or pay per ride
Choose your preferred discount right before you start a ride to save on travel. Explore Dott passes to save per day, week or month — or just pay as you go for now and choose one next time you ride. You can pick from promos you’ve added, referral bonuses you've earned, or limited-time local deals – it’s up to you!

The app and the overall service is pretty poor. Contact Us page doesn't function at all and their live chat AI might be the worst I've ever come across. No in built navigation on a transport app is an insane oversight. Walked past 5 scooters/bikes over a km distance and they were all either reported broken or out of battery. Ended up wasting time just to end up taking the bus Update: Parking spot had 6 vehicles, all broken or out of battery. Got one that let me use it, and it didn't work

Terrible experience. There are many red zones and no in built navigation so you can't tell until you stop suddenly. The battery also ran out before my destination, causing me to have to walk the rest of the way anyway. The phone mount is terrible and my phone fell out onto the concrete twice, stopping fully my ability to see the red zones on the map. I was charged £6.70 for all of this and don't recommend to anybody. I've already consulted their customer support and won't offer a refund.

The customer support "bot" is completely dysfunctional, it appears to allow you to type responses but it can only interpret its own pre-programmed suggestions, anything else (even only a few words) is met with an error. Also the app doesn't tell you the registration of the scooter you've unlocked, the issue started when I was momentarily distracted while starting a ride, none of the scooters would move, and I couldn't cancel as it had decided the parking area was now full

What’s new

We’ve got some pretty sweet updates this release! Now you can:

– Easily see when you've applied a discount code, or we'll nudge you to log in/finish signing up to apply your code
– Tap the "Ring" button with a clear bell icon to find the vehicle you've selected on the map, plus refreshed pins so they're easier to locate
– Refer your friends easily from the top of your ride receipt
