Very unreliable. I was sending money for emergency reason. There was an error in the app when I was sending the money and they asked me to wait a bit and then try to send it again. I waited a little bit and tried resending again. Not only did the error occurred again but the money was deducted from my account. I called Sendwave but they couldn't offer any help. telling me that the transaction didn't happen. I waited 7 business days for me to get my money back. Unreliable!!

Since the inability to use World Remit (they own Sendwave - you would hardly believe it!), the experience using Sendwave has been terrible. Trying to contact them and solve an issue or get an explanation re: a transaction delay is beyond problematic.. Little explanation, a sorry case of a money transfer app. I still cannot believe World Remit owns this app considering how good an experience that was prior to their exit from the market. In short, if you find a viable alternative - USE IT!!!

Great UI, but some of the features advertised could be misleading. I saw that signing up for the wallet gives users access to better rates than advertised. However, I didn't see any advantage after I signed up for the wallet. When I reached out to customer service, I was given the run around with memorized responses not addressing my question. I was and still am disappointed with all of these.
