Meta View is now the Meta AI app. Manage your Ray-Ban Meta or Ray-Ban Stories glasses.
The Meta AI app makes it easy to manage your glasses and keep them up to date. Import, view and share your captured photos and videos in the Gallery tab.
Set up and customize voice control features, which allow you to say "Hey Meta" and go hands free.*
Manage your information and privacy settings, which allow you to connect your calling, messaging and music services, and stay in control of your privacy.
Learn and explore the features and capabilities through interactive product tours.
*Certain Meta AI features are only available in select countries and languages. Some of these features may roll out slowly over time.

The glasses are great but the amount of apps that can utilize the features is incredibly small considering the glasses have now been out for over 3 years. No Google integration? No Uber integration? Apple music? Audible...?There are only 4 apps that can currently use the glasses (Amazon music, Spotify, Calm and Shazam). In today's world, thats quite simply not enough. Product (well atleast from a software perspective) needs updating ASAP!

No clear way to start a conversation. The test modes provide a sample but there is nowhere to enter any text to respond back. Update: Restarting the app fixed it, kind of. It froze on first load, then it had no option of entering text or starting a conversation after selecting a username on second load, but 3rd time lucky. Update 2: chat works but no option to use voice as announced anywhere to be found

Edit: recently the app is draining my battery like crazy. 16h background usage, 3m screen usage. Gotta install as I need and uninstall until there's an update. Yesterday the app just started closing and crashing. I cleared data and cache, uninstalled and reinstalled. Nothing seems to work. Hopefully an update is coming soon. [Update] is seems to have started working properly with no update.
