CookBook is free to download! Unlocking over 20 recipes requires an active monthly or yearly subscription. Monthly subscriptions are billed per month. Yearly subscriptions are billed the total annual fee from the date of purchase. Payment will be charged to your card through your App Store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the subscription period. Subscriptions can be managed & turned off in your App Store account. Once purchased, refunds will not be provided for any unused portion of the term.

Need subscription. Replying to developer comments. I'm not changing my evaluation. I understand the cost involved, but there's no option to try the app properly without committing to a subscription. And I'm not referring to a two-week free trial. I prefer the option to pay once. Many upps feel like a copy-paste versions of each other. I dislike the trend of forcing subscription upfront. Why not offering a basic version without Ai or storage providing option to use Dropbox as an example.

Hi Angye, you can try CookBook free with up to 20 recipes and 5 scans. There's no time limit or forced subscription to try it. We store recipes in the cloud for seamless sync across your devices & web app. CookBook is top tier, offers many premium features, AI, and ongoing development, it isn't a basic app & a subscription model covers these costs.

I am so pleased to have discovered this amazing app. I bought some new cookbooks and wanted to find a quick way to create shopping lists from recipes. This app turns a photo of a recipe, or a link from a web page into a recipe on the app and creates you a shopping list. If you add ingredients to a shopping list from more than one recipe, it combines them, so you know exactly the amount of each thing. I've just payed $15 for year because it does everything I want!

The best recipe manager out there. I've been using this for a few years now. This was the best app available at the time (I tried a few), and has been getting better and better ever since, with new features, fixes, improved UX, etc. The developers are very responsive to feedback and requests for fixes/enhancements. The use of tags makes it really easy to find exactly what you're looking for quickly and easily. Cooking mode, meal planner, shopping list: all great features. Well worth the price.
