A few things you can do in Horizon…

■ Discover Thousands of Experiences
Explore and download games, apps and worlds. Jump into multiplayer games, live concerts, comedy shows and more together. You can use the Horizon app to start experiences on your headset, put it on, and jump in.

■ Customize Your Avatar
Express yourself any way you like. Mirror the way you look in real life, or take on a unique look. Complete quests to unlock avatar styles, items and emotes.

■ Invite Friends To Join
Keep playing on your phone while outside of the headset. Encourage friends and family to download the Meta Horizon app from their mobile device so you can explore together.

■ Set up a Meta Quest
Set up a device for the first time and manage your experience while outside of the headset. You can customize settings for everyone in the family, with permissions available for children (10-12) and teens (13+).

Used to work just fine with a few quirks. I needed to factory reset my Quest 1 for something and tried to set it up again. Now I can't get past the Health and Safety video screen because the video itself won't load in and presumably trigger setup progression. My Quest is literally bricked because of an in-app bug. Thanks Meta (sarcastic).

while the mobile app is fine, it still feels pretty half baked. I'd like to mention the PC app. The quest link barely works and even crashes on the headset, seriously, how does your own main menu crash on your own hardware. Not only that, it is comparable to malware, even if startup is disabled for it, it will constantly run in the background taking up an almost constant 100mb of RAM unless you force stop it manually from task manager, it also overwrites all audio inputs and outputs randomly.

DO NOT BUY A QUEST YOU WILL REGRET IT HUGELY !! I have had mine for almost 4 weeks now and it's best feature is a portable tv screen. Games are crashing and the quest 3 itself is freezing during play. battery life is shockingly poor. limited content on store. payment issues when trying to do purchases. try to set up meta remote desktop that also is a failure. Doesn't even open. overall the meta quest 3 gets a 2 out of 10. ive found problem after problem since purchase 500 for a pile of trash 🗑
