No Chromecast support. So it's basically the same as the progressive web app which you can download from an Android web browser. Also the authentication for sign in attempts is kinda broken. You have to choose "send a code to my iPhone". I don't own an iPhone. Surely if I had one I'd download the app on my iPhone. Then you have to choose to have the code resent as a text message or phone call because it doesn't work. But only once you have a code sent to an imaginary iPhone.

Their content is fantastic, which is why I keep coming back. but the app is barely usable. My biggest complaints are: * Was signed out and couldn't sign in; rather than giving me a place to enter the 2FA code from the sign-in process, it just said "an error occurred" * Was signed into the right account but it didn't realise I had an Apple TV subscription on that account, and only gave me ways to sign up for a new subscription. No way to sign out and back in again, so I uninstalled the app.

It's like they checked out every other streaming app on the planet and then make theirs the exact opposite. It's a TV streaming service, and you can add things to your watch list, but you can never view your watch list. there's no link or option to view your watch list anymore. so good luck remembering what you tried to put on it, or trying to retrieve anything from it. they've also added a dead end page to subscription cancellation.
