The latest update looks - and is - awful. The layout is far too big...bigger than necessary: it's very reminiscent of a toddler's toy called "My First Calculator"! I hate the way these kinds of apps are more-or-less "forced" on us. Update doesn't have any particularly useful new features, either. Suggest the dev. just reverts it back to a handy pocket calculator, other than something most people don't want or use much!

Now looks like a pastel child's toy. Instead of the current calculation stacking, it now displays on a single line of such large friendly numbers that it can't all be seen as you work. And the putative result doesn't show until you press the =button. That was a feature I found really useful and it's gone. First clock, and now calc. Are all your apps going to turn into bubblegum? And then I tried landscape. The font size changes to fill the frame! A calculator with no idea of number position!

Like many, I find this new update intolerable. Some features are an improvement, such as the easier access to () and %, but that's about it. There is a 0.25 second lag between pressing a button and feeling the vibration response (which you can't turn off), which makes it distracting and difficult to enter any digits. There is also no longer an answer preview, which I didn't realise until now just how useful that was. This is a very, very regressive update.
